Job summary

Rempact is hiring an AI Engineer, Agents & Intelligence in Bangalore. You will build the intelligence layer for our AI marketing product, focusing on agents that understand a business, remember context, and execute marketing workflows.

This role requires hands-on experience with LLM/AI systems and strong Python backend skills. You will work on AI agents, long-term memory, RAG, embeddings, and vector search, plus tool calling, API orchestration, and production-grade system reliability.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of engineering experience, exceptional candidates outside this range may apply.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM/AI systems.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases or search.
• Experience building agents, tool-calling systems or agentic workflows.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and Python proficiency.
• Understanding memory, context management and stateful AI systems.
• Strong backend fundamentals: APIs, databases, async systems and production infra.
• Ability to take an ambiguous problem from idea to production.

What we’re looking for

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and excellent Python.
• Approximately 2-5 years of engineering experience, though exceptional candidates can be outside this range.
• Hands‑on experience building and shipping LLM/AI systems.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases or search.
• Experience building agents, tool‑calling systems or agentic workflows.

Strong Plus

• LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI Agents SDK, PydanticAI or similar; MCP; hybrid search and reranking; LLM evaluation and observability; multimodal AI; Redis/PostgreSQL/pgvector; Docker/cloud; open source or strong personal AI projects; heavy use of AI coding tools.
