AI Developer at Padmavati Jewel Industries Private Limited, based at our facility in TTC Industrial Area, Turbhe, Navi Mumbai. Founded in 1995, we are an established jewellery manufacturer specialising in 18KT and 22KT casting, machine-made, and fusion jewellery. We are building intelligent systems to streamline operations across both our manufacturing floor and our office functions. We are looking for an AI Developer to design, build, and deploy software and automation tools that improve efficiency across the business. You will work on practical problems spanning production planning, inventory and cataloguing, quality control, sales operations, and back-office workflows. The role suits someone who enjoys taking a process from idea to working tool, and who can combine AI and traditional software engineering to solve real business problems. You will work closely with the management, production, and operations teams to understand pain points and translate them into reliable, maintainable systems. This is a hands‑on role with significant ownership and the freedom to shape how technology is used across the company.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy software tools and automation systems for manufacturing and office processes. Build AI and machine learning models for practical use cases such as image recognition for jewellery cataloguing, demand forecasting, quality inspection, and data extraction. Develop scripts and applications to automate repetitive tasks across production planning, inventory, cataloguing, and back‑office workflows. Integrate new tools with the existing ERP and internal systems. Build and maintain internal dashboards and reporting tools for management. Work with data from production, sales, and inventory to surface useful insights. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into working solutions. Test, document, and maintain deployed systems to ensure reliability. Stay current with AI tools and frameworks and recommend where they can add value. Handle data responsibly and follow company security and confidentiality protocols.
