Job summary

RecruitBots AI is seeking an AI Engineer Associate with 3–5 years of experience to design, build, and scale AI-powered applications across GenAI areas. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to architect, test, and productionize AI solutions using modern models, APIs, frameworks, and tools.

You will own technical decisions across GenAI domains, develop and optimize LLM-driven applications, and build AI agents, Voice AI, and Computer Vision solutions.

About the role

We are looking for an AI Engineer Associate with 3–5 years of experience to design, build, and scale AI-powered applications across different areas of Generative AI. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to architect, integrate, test, and productionize AI solutions using modern AI models, APIs, frameworks, and tools. The role spans multiple areas of AI, including LLM applications, AI agents, Voice AI, Computer Vision, Prompt Engineering, NLP, Multimodal AI, and AI automation.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and scale AI-powered applications and features using modern AI models and APIs.

Own technical decisions across different GenAI domains based on product requirements.

Develop and optimize applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal AI models.

Architect and build AI agents and autonomous/multi-step workflows.

Lead work on Voice AI, including speech-to-text, text-to-speech, conversational AI, and voice agents.

Design and implement Computer Vision solutions for image and video-based use cases.

Design and optimize prompts, system instructions, structured outputs, and tool/function calling.

Build and maintain NLP, embeddings, semantic search, and knowledge-based AI systems.

Evaluate and select AI models, APIs, frameworks, and architectures for production use.

Integrate AI capabilities with backend services, APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.

Evaluate AI systems for accuracy, relevance, latency, reliability, and cost at scale.

Debug complex AI application issues and analyze model outputs to drive fixes.

Take prototypes from experimentation to reliable, production-grade features.

Mentor junior developers and stay ahead of developments in Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, Voice AI, Computer Vision, and multimodal AI.

Required Skills

Solid, hands-on experience with Generative AI, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence.

Strong experience with APIs and REST services.

Deep understanding of LLMs and prompt engineering.

Proven experience integrating AI models into production applications.

Good to Have

Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or open-source AI models.

Experience with AI Agents, Voice Agents, Conversational AI, or AI automation.

Experience with Computer Vision, NLP, Speech AI, or Multimodal AI.

Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar tools.

Strong familiarity with embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, or RAG.

Experience with FastAPI, Node.js, React, or similar technologies.

Working knowledge of Docker and AWS/cloud platforms.

Track record of building and shipping AI chatbots, voice applications, AI agents, computer vision applications, or other AI products.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI/ML, or a related field.
