Job summary

SES is seeking a Senior Applied AI & Data Science Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions that transform how the organization works with data. This role focuses on AI agents, automated workflows, and making enterprise data accessible via natural language interfaces.

The ideal candidate blends data science and software engineering expertise with hands-on production experience building AI applications, including LLMs and cloud-based deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Analytics Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python and advanced SQL.
• Expert knowledge of multiple ML algorithms/techniques such as clustering, neural networks, random forest, time series analysis, and XGBoost.
• Experience building applications using modern LLMs and Generative AI technologies.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or Snowflake cloud computing platforms.
• Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or other BI tools.
• Strong understanding of statistics, ML, and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This role will focus on developing AI agents, automating business workflows, enabling natural language access to enterprise data, and applying machine learning and advanced analytics to solve complex business problems.The ideal candidate combines strong data science and machine learningexpertisewith practical software engineering skills and hands-on experience building AI applications in production environments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and AI-powered applications for internal business stakeholders.
• Build solutions using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based architectures.
• Develop machine learning models for prediction, classification, anomaly detection, forecasting, andoptimizationuse cases.
• Create natural language interfaces for enterprise data and analytics platforms.
