Job summary

LTM in Hyderabad, India is seeking an AI Automation Operations Engineer to provide day-to-day operational support for AI-driven automation services, improving reliability, incident response, and user experience.

You will monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve LLM-powered workflows, manage incidents, changes, and runbooks, and partner with product, reliability, and business teams to keep services secure and compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in application support, platform operations, SRE, or automation operations in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with incident, problem, change, release, and service-request management.
• Working knowledge of LLM platforms, AI agents, prompts, and model safety considerations.
• Experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow or SAP and similar systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting APIs, authentication, data flows, logs, and distributed dependencies; scripting (Python) for automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for AI automation platforms, LLM-based agents, and integrations across environments.
• Monitor service health, performance, availability, capacity, and risks using dashboards and logs.
• Triage and resolve incidents, service requests, and problems; coordinate cross-functional communications and restoration.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions for recurring issues and automation exceptions.
• Execute approved changes, releases, patches, and maintenance following CM and validation standards.
• Maintain security, data privacy, model safety, monitoring, and governance controls; identify gaps.
• Create runbooks, knowledge articles, support procedures, and recovery documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering during transition to operations; ensure monitoring, ownership, and acceptance criteria.

Role Overview

The AI Automation Operations Engineer provides daytoday operational support for AIdriven automation services that improve application reliability incident response operational efficiency and user experience
This role focuses on operating monitoring troubleshooting and continuously improving LLMpowered automation agentic workflows and intelligent observability solutions in production The Engineer will ensure services remain secure stable supportable and compliant by managing incidents service requests changes releases runbooks and operational controls in partnership with product engineering reliability platform and business teams

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for AI automation platforms LLMbased agents orchestration pipelines and integrations across production and nonproduction environments
• Monitor service health model and workflow performance availability capacity and operational risks using dashboards alerts logs and observability tools
• Triage and resolve incidents service requests and problems coordinate crossfunctional response stakeholder communications escalation and restoration of service
• Perform rootcause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions for recurring failures degraded model behavior integration issues and automation exceptions
• Execute approved configuration changes releases patches upgrades and environment maintenance in accordance with changemanagement and validation requirements
• Maintain operational controls for security access data privacy model safety grounding hallucination monitoring and governance identify and escalations control gaps
• Create and maintain runbooks knowledge articles support procedures service maps support metrics and recovery documentation
• Partner with engineering teams during solution transition to operations ensuring monitoring alerting support readiness documentation ownership and acceptance criteria are complete
• Identify repetitive support activities and implement lowrisk enhancements scripts and workflow improvements within established engineering standards
• Track service levels incident trends automation success rates userimpact indicators and operational improvement actions contribute to service reviews and audit evidence

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
• 46 years of professional experience in application support platform operations SRE production engineering or automation operations including experience supporting enterprise AI or automation services
• Handson experience with incident problem change release and servicerequest management in an enterprise support environment
• Working knowledge of LLM platforms AI agents promptbased workflows retrieval or grounding patterns and model safety considerations
• Experience supporting integrations with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow SAP Veeva or comparable business systems
• Proficiency in troubleshooting APIs authentication data flows logs and distributed application dependencies working knowledge of Python or equivalent scripting for support automation
• Experience with monitoring and observability practices including dashboards alerts logging performance analysis and operational metrics
• Strong analytical documentation and communication skills with the ability to coordinate technical resolution and communicate clearly with business and technology stakeholders

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting cloudhosted AI or automation services on Azure or a comparable platform
• Familiarity with AIOps SRE practices ITIL processes observabilitydriven operations and automated remediation
• Experience with oncall support major incident response service continuity disaster recovery or regulated production environments
• Knowledge of enterprise security compliance access management data protection and AI governance requirements
• Ability to make controlled enhancements to existing automation prompts configurations and support tooling without assuming primary ownership for new solution development
