Job summary

Carrerlift in Bengaluru is offering an AI systems internship for batches 2026/2027/2028. You will work with a distributed team to design scalable AI architectures, compare frameworks, and select appropriate tools for real-world deployments.

Mentorship will guide hands-on projects to grow your skills in ML system design. You should have strong AI fundamentals, hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras, and coding proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.

Qualifications

• Core knowledge of AI fundamentals, machine learning algorithms, and data structure concepts.
• Hands-on experience or strong comfort with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Code proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
• Genuine interest in how systems are designed, how thinking maps to structure, and building solutions that grow with demand.
• Awareness of current developments in AI—new frameworks, research breakthroughs, and emerging tools.

• Partner with our technical team to create AI system architectures that scale smoothly and perform reliably under real-world demands
• Assess what clients need and propose architectural approaches that meet their objectives
• Contribute to developing practices, methods, and toolkits that support long-term, sustainable AI development
• Study available technologies, libraries, and platforms, then recommend the right fit for each project's scope and growth needs
• Learn by doing: work on hands-on projects mentored by experienced AI architects

What you'll work on:

• Building blocks of machine learning systems: how to structure pipelines, data flows, and model deployment so they work at scale
• Real technical challenges: choosing between TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras for different use cases; understanding when each shines
• System design patterns: how to think about bottlenecks, latency, redundancy, and cost in production AI
• Keeping pace with the field: tracking emerging tools, research directions, and industry shifts in AI

What we're looking for:
