Job summary

Emergent is hiring a mobile app support/engineering role based in Bengaluru. We build autonomous coding agents that generate, test, and deploy production apps from plain-language intent, with a global production footprint and millions of users.

You will work on React Native apps, debug production issues, and optimize performance while collaborating with world-class engineers to improve reliability and user experience at scale.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mobile app support or development.
• Experience with React Native, Expo, and mobile platform development.
• Experience debugging production mobile apps.
• Familiarity with mobile app architecture and performance optimization.
• Experience with REST APIs and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth performance of AI-generated mobile applications.
• Debug issues across React Native apps, backend services, APIs in production.

What You'll Do:

• Ensure smooth performance of AI-generated mobile applications
• Debug functional issues across React Native applications, backend services, APIs, and databases in live production environments
• Guide users in building stable and scalable mobile applications using our autonomous development platform
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve application reliability and user experience
• Build troubleshooting guides, debugging workflows, and quick fixes for recurring mobile application issues
• Investigate crashes, performance bottlenecks, API integration failures, and deployment-related issues
• Validate application behavior across Android and iOS devices, OS versions, and network conditions
• Work closely with internal teams to identify recurring issues and improve the overall reliability of AI-generated mobile applications

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in mobile application support, mobile development, or software engineering
• Strong experience with React Native, Expo, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Android and iOS development
• Experience debugging production mobile applications
• Understanding of mobile application architecture and performance optimization
• Experience working with REST APIs and backend services
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
