Job summary

Amgen is seeking an AI Adoption Engineer to accelerate enterprise adoption of AI technologies, including ChatGPT, Codex, and AI-enabled workflows. You will drive adoption across teams and build reusable AI solutions, agents, and workflow automations.

With 8–12 years in software, AI, or machine learning, you will mentor teams, conduct workshops, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to scale AI adoption in a regulated biotech context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 8 to 12 years of software engineering, AI, or machine learning experience.
• Strong Python programming and REST API development experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude, or similar AI tools.
• Experience building AI-powered applications and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI enablement practices.
• Excellent communication, technical mentoring, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

About The Role

We are seeking an AI Adoption Engineer who will serve as the technical catalyst for accelerating enterprise adoption of AI technologies including ChatGPT, Codex, AI agents, prompt engineering, and AI-enabled development workflows.

• Conduct technical workshops, mentor teams on AI best practices, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to scale AI adoption.

This role combines hands-on software engineering with technical consulting, enablement, and innovation

Required Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 8 to 12 years of software engineering, AI, or machine learning experience.

• Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare or another regulated industry
