Job summary

Google Cloud is hiring an Agentic Data Cloud Sales Specialist in Bengaluru to drive revenue in enterprise data, analytics, and AI/ML solutions. You will build business cases, engage executives, and lead multi-threaded sales cycles from discovery to close.

You will present BigQuery, Spark, Spanner, and related data-architecture to demonstrate value and governance, shaping cloud and data strategies for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of quota-carrying enterprise sales experience.
• Experience building business cases through workshops or product demos to business executives.
• Experience developing partnerships with technical stakeholders (e.g., Enterprise Architects, Data Engineers, Data Scientists).
• Experience positioning and selling technical solutions in data management, analytics, infrastructure, or AI/ML.

Responsibilities

• Deliver against quota and achieve or exceed strategic business and growth goals, and drive net-new greenfield logos and workloads in existing accounts through proactive campaigns.
• Run complex, multi-threaded sales cycles from initial discovery and value hypothesis to ROI business case creation and commercial close.
• Engage business leaders through value-selling, tying modern Data and AI capabilities to quantified business outcomes.
• Align cross-functionally with Field Sales Representatives and Partners to execute joint Data+AI plays, driving platform standardization and co-sell motions.
• Present modern architectures (BigQuery, Spark, Spanner, AlloyDB) to demonstrate how unified data foundations power high-performance, hallucination-free AI agents.

• Experience positioning and selling streaming solutions, open data lakehouses, and analytics tools (e.g., Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, Apache Spark) against legacy, proprietary deployment environments.
• Experience positioning, selling, or showcasing the commercial value of AI platforms, agent-driven applications, and low-latency, highly scalable operational data services on open data foundations.
• Use agentic or AI tools for customer demos and discussions for show don't tell execution.

As an Agentic Data Cloud Sales Specialist, you will help us grow our Agentic Data Cloud business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. In this role, you will work with customers to deliver true business value, demonstrate product functionality and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases. You will position Google Cloud's data suite (including BigQuery, Knowledge Catalog, Borderless Lakehouse, etc.) as the premium data intelligence platform for Agentic workflows. You will articulate the unique value of Lakehouse, governance, and semantic cataloging in delivering high-quality, hallucination-free AI Agents, enabling customers to leverage unified data foundations for real-time, AI-driven experiences. You will shape customers' cloud and Agentic Data Cloud strategy and enable digital transformation. You will lead with empathy, while identifying innovative ways to multiply your impact and the impact of the team as a whole to drive overall value for Google Cloud. • Align cross-functionally with Field Sales Representative (FSRs) and Partners to execute joint Data+AI plays, driving platform standardization and co-sell motions.
• Present modern architectures (BigQuery, Spark, Spanner, AlloyDB) to demonstrate how unified data foundations power high-performance, hallucination-free AI agents.
