Job summary

Retail Insights is seeking an experienced AI/ML professional to design and implement agentic AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making. You will build multi-agent architectures and integrate LLMs with enterprise APIs and data sources.

You will work with business teams to identify automation use cases, define KPIs, and ensure explainability, reliability, and cost efficiency across deployments. Agile delivery is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in AI/ML or advanced data science roles.
• Hands-on experience building agent-based or autonomous AI systems.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Advanced Python programming skills.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications and workflows.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement agentic AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making and task execution.
• Build and orchestrate multi-agent architectures to solve complex business workflows.
• Integrate LLMs with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and tools.
• Define agent roles, memory, tools, planning logic, and control mechanisms.
• Implement RAG pipelines to ground agents with enterprise knowledge and data.
• Collaborate with business and product teams to identify automation and intelligence use cases.
• Design AI agents for use cases such as customer support automation, decision intelligence, recommendations, forecasting, and workflow automation.
• Ensure reliability, accuracy, and explainability of agent decisions.
• Implement safeguards, monitoring, and fallback mechanisms for autonomous agents.
• Optimize agent performance, latency, and cost efficiency.
• Support UAT, business validation, and post-production optimization.
• Collaborate with data engineers and ML engineers for data and model pipelines.
• Define KPIs to measure agent effectiveness (accuracy, resolution rate, deflection, ROI).
• Document agent architecture, logic, and operational guidelines.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for agentic AI best practices and patterns.
• Stay current with advancements in agent-based AI and LLM technologies.
