Job summary

Jobtailor Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on AI engineer to develop and implement Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions for banking use cases. You will transform functional needs into AI components, prompts, APIs, and automated workflows while collaborating with data scientists and senior developers.

You will build LLM-powered features, RAG pipelines, and document processing flows, leveraging Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure DevOps to deploy robust AI applications in a banking context.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
Hands-on experience in AI/ML, with banking domain exposure preferred.
Experience building LLM-based features, RAG components, and AI workflows.

Support the development and implementation of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and AI solutions for Banking use cases under the guidance of senior team members and managers.
Convert functional requirements into basic AI components, prompts, APIs, scripts, workflows, and reusable development modules.
Build and enhance LLM-powered features, RAG pipelines, simple AI agents, document processing flows, and automation components.
Work with data scientists, AI engineers, senior developers, and banking domain stakeholders to develop and test AI solution components.
Contribute to banking-focused AI solutions for customer support, document intelligence, onboarding support, KYC/AML assistance, lending support, fraud checks, and operations automation.
Use Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps to support AI application development and deployment.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, software engineering, or AI application development.
Hands‑on experience in building AI / analytics / software solutions, preferably within the Banking domain.
Exposure to developing LLM-based features, RAG components, simple AI agents, APIs, cloud-based services, and reusable AI workflows.
Experience working in development teams and collaborating with senior developers, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Certifications in Azure AI, Azure Fundamentals, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Technologies, or Agentic AI are preferred.

Demonstrates expertise in developing and implementing AI solutions, particularly in the Banking domain, utilizing Azure AI Services and Generative AI technologies. Proficient in converting functional requirements into AI components and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance AI-driven customer support and operational processes.
