Job summary

AkzoNobel in Pune is hiring an Agentic AI Engineer for a hybrid role. You will contribute to platform engineering and full-stack AI app development, provisioning cloud infra, and enhancing CI/CD workflows to support enterprise AI initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 3-10 years in AI/ML, strong Python for automation, React/Node/Express, and familiarity with Azure or cloud platforms, Git, and observability concepts.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have 3-10 years of experience in AI/ML.
• Experience with Python for automation and AI integration.
• Proficient in React.js, Node.js, Express.js and front-end tech (HTML/CSS/TypeScript).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Git and version control and observability concepts.

We are hiring for the role of Agentic AI Engineer at Pune (Hybrid role), below are additional details as required.

Good to have skills - Multi-Agent Frameworks (AutoGen, Semantic Kernel), Azure AI Search / RAG Pipelines, Docker / Kubernetes / IaC, Vector Databases, Responsible AI & Security, Linux Proficiency etc

Job Purpose -

The primary objective of this role is to support the successful delivery of enterprise AI initiatives by contributing to both platform engineering and application development. The candidate will help maintain reliable cloud environments, support AI projects throughout their lifecycle, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of enterprise AI applications that enable internal teams and external vendors to build and deploy Agentic AI solutions.

The candidate will contribute to both enterprise AI platform engineering and full-stack application development by working closely with project stakeholders and technical teams. They will assist in provisioning cloud infrastructure, maintaining enterprise environments, supporting CI/CD processes, resolving infrastructure and application issues, and enhancing the observability of the enterprise Agentic AI platform. They will also contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise AI web applications by implementing new features, developing APIs and supporting ongoing enhancements.

Job Requirements -

• Professional experience ranging from 3-10 years within AI/ML
• Python for automation and AI-related integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with React.js, Node.js and Express.js.
• Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and backend application development.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. Exposure to AWS or Google Cloud Platform is also acceptable.
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking and access management concepts.
• Exposure to CI/CD concepts and deployment workflows.
• Exposure to Linux or Windows server environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities -

• Collaborate with project stakeholders and technical teams to understand infrastructure and application requirements for AI projects.
• Assist in provisioning, configuring and maintaining cloud infrastructure and development environments for enterprise AI solutions.
• Support enterprise server environments through routine maintenance, security patching and environment management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, networking, access management and application-related issues.
• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Monitor the operational health of the enterprise Agentic AI platform and support improvements in observability and platform reliability.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise AI web applications using React.js, Node.js and Express.js.
• Build and enhance REST APIs and integrate applications with AI services and enterprise systems.
• Participate in testing, deployments, production support and technical documentation.
