Job description

We are looking for an experienced Agentic AI Architect who is a strong Software/Application Architect with hands‑on expertise in Azure and enterprise AI solutions.

Role & responsibilities

The ideal candidate should be a software/application architect first and an AI practitioner second. The role requires someone who can design, develop, integrate, deploy and support production-grade applications on Azure, while embedding Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents and Agentic workflows into business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop end-to-end enterprise applications on Microsoft Azure, from solution design through development, deployment and production support.
• Design Agentic AI solutions using LLMs, AI agents, tools, APIs, workflows and enterprise data sources.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable application architectures.
• Design and implement application components.
• Integrate Azure OpenAI / Microsoft Foundry / Azure AI services into enterprise applications.
• Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems, databases, APIs and third‑party applications.
• Define application architecture covering scalability, availability, performance, security, observability and maintainability.
• Lead hands‑on development of critical application components and provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Establish appropriate Azure services for application hosting, integration, storage, messaging, security and monitoring.
• Design secure authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identity and RBAC.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for application and AI solution deployment.
• Work closely with product owners, business teams, engineering teams and enterprise architects to deliver production‑ready solutions.
• Perform architecture reviews, code reviews and technology evaluations.
• Establish standards and reusable frameworks for Agentic AI application development.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong programming experience in C#/.NET, Python.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns and clean architecture.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with microservices and distributed application architecture.
• Experience with database design and integration with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, messaging and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience developing and integrating enterprise applications and third‑party APIs.
• Strong hands‑on Azure application development experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Agent Framework, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LangGraph or similar agent orchestration frameworks is desirable.
• The candidate should understand how to integrate AI capabilities into an application architecture rather than focus primarily on developing or training ML models.

The candidate should be comfortable building and deploying applications on Azure, not just designing Azure infrastructure.

• Understanding of observability, logging, monitoring and application performance.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps.
• Ability to create architecture diagrams, solution designs and technical specifications.
• Ability to evaluate build‑vs‑buy and select appropriate Azure services.

Preferred candidate profile

• 8- 10+ years of overall software/application development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Agentic AI
• 5+ years of experience working with Azure and cloud‑native applications.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Generative AI / LLM applications.
• Experience architecting and delivering enterprise‑scale applications.
• Experience leading technical teams and providing architecture guidance.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and translating business problems into technical solutions.
