Cognizant is hiring for an Agent Owner to lead AI-driven business initiatives, from identifying opportunities to adoption. You will partner with engineers to design, build, evaluate, and deploy AI agents that deliver measurable business value.

You will own backlogs, define acceptance criteria, and ensure governance, with a focus on value realization and post-go-live adoption. Immediate notice period applies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Agentic AI / GenAI solutions in production.
• Strong ability to break down business processes into agent-executable tasks.
• Experience creating business cases and ROI models to justify AI initiatives.
• Knowledge of RAG, AI agents, tool calling, HITL, evaluation frameworks, groundedness, and citations.
• Data-driven decision making and backlog ownership.
• Excellent stakeholder management across business, technology, and finance teams.

Role Summary

Own the business side of Agentic AI initiatives from opportunity identification to adoption. Partner with engineers to design, build, evaluate, and deploy AI agents that deliver measurable business value. Responsible for value realization, process decomposition, backlog ownership, acceptance criteria, governance, and post-go-live adoption.

Preferred

• Experience in Insurance, Benefits, Pensions, or HR Operations.
• Exposure to AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar.
• Background in process improvement, operations, or digital transformation.
