The Role:

As a Taxation Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive range of tax services, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations within set timelines. You will build strong client relationships, offering expert tax planning and consulting services, while also reviewing complex income tax returns and contributing innovative solutions to optimize tax strategies.

Who You’ll work with:

The Individual will be responsible in managing the advisory and compliance of Direct, Indirect, and local Indian tax.

What you will do:

• Managing the advisory and compliance connected to the fact that the Indian entities are part of an international Group with headquarter in Italy.
• Managing and coordinating tax audits, contact with tax authorities, negotiating rulings.
• Handling all the request coming from Indian Tax Authority
• Managing the advisory and compliance on Transfer Pricing, for all Indian entities and foreign entities that need to comply with Indian tax requirements. Handling any compliance and tax impact analysis of intercompany transactions (e.g. Transfer pricing compliance, BEPS regulation compliance, CbC reporting)
• Advising on corporate restructuring and extraordinary transactions
• Advising on the application of Double Tax Treaty
• Ensuring timely payment of all taxes and proper accounting of input credit taxes
• Handling all the reporting requests coming from the final shareholder
• Applying Group’s tax strategies, policies, and guidelines to be followed at local level and to coordinate tax budget and planning process identifying, analyzing and proposing any tax optimization and efficiency initiatives.
• Handling various litigation matters of the company including co-ordination with tax consultants and drafting replies to Direct and Indirect Tax authorities
• Timely update on tax matters including regulatory changes to senior management.
• Liaise with Statutory, Internal and another relevant Audit and other relevant stakeholders.
• To drive effective implementation of in-country procedure to ensure proper compliance with Italian Tax laws
• Review agreements on all Tax related clause and/or ensure necessary tax implications are all addressed in favour of the company.

What You’ll Bring:

• Good knowledge of the most relevant computer applications (Office suite, SAP)
• Candidates should have excellent analytical skills and great communication skills.
• 10 years of relevant experience within an international environment at a Big4 or international company, of which 4-6 years in Tax.
• Candidate should be chartered accountant.
