Job description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop, integrate, and optimize scalable data solutions that enable trusted customer data across enterprise digital ecosystems. This role is responsible for implementing robust data pipelines, enabling seamless enterprise integrations, and ensuring reliable, high-quality data supports customer experience, analytics, and business activation initiatives.

Working closely with Data Architects, Solution Architects, Platform Engineers, and business stakeholders, the Data Engineer will transform architectural designs into scalable engineering solutions while leveraging AWS cloud services to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing data platforms.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data ingestion and integration pipelines that enable efficient movement of enterprise data into Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
• Implement cloud-native data engineering solutions that support customer data management, analytics, and digital experience initiatives.
• Collaborate with Data Architects to translate enterprise data models and architectural designs into production-ready data engineering solutions.
• Design, develop, and optimize data transformation processes that ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across enterprise data ecosystems.
• Build and maintain integrations between Adobe Experience Platform, AWS services, and enterprise applications using modern integration patterns and APIs.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, monitoring, and performance optimization to maintain trusted and business-ready data assets.
• Optimize data processing, scalability, and operational efficiency by leveraging appropriate AWS services and engineering best practices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable technical solutions.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance controls throughout the data engineering lifecycle.
• Support automated deployment, version control, and CI/CD practices to improve delivery efficiency and platform reliability.
• Monitor data pipelines, cloud resources, and platform health, identifying opportunities to improve resilience, scalability, and operational performance.
• Maintain technical documentation for data flows, integration designs, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
• Continuously evaluate AWS and Adobe Experience Platform capabilities to recommend engineering improvements and modernization opportunities.

Experience

8+ years of experience in data engineering with hands-on expertise in developing scalable cloud-based data solutions. Demonstrated experience implementing Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), building enterprise data pipelines, and leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) for data integration, storage, and processing is essential. Experience with API-based integrations, AWS-native data services, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud engineering best practices will be considered an advantage.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Adobe Experience Platform Developer Expert (preferred)
• AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate (or the equivalent AWS data-focused certification aligned with the organization's certification framework)
