Job summary

EY Digital Experience Platform is seeking an AEM Tech Lead to guide a delivery team in building innovative solutions using Adobe, Microsoft and other platform components. You will own deep technical development, provide guidance and set coding standards for successful project delivery.

You will lead AEM developers, coordinate with wider technology teams, and help optimize performance, templates, workflows, and deployments while ensuring quality and best practices across the stack.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years in IT environment.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with AEM.
• Hands-on development with AEM 6.x onwards including AEM as Cloud Service.
• Adobe Experience Manager - components, templates, workflows, MSM and Rollout, translations and workflows, UI customisations, reporting.
• Deep knowledge of Java, Maven, JCR, OSGI, Sling Framework, HTL (Sightly), AEM dispatchers, Restful APIs.
• Knowledge of Cloud Manager CI/CD pipelines, GitHub.
• Code Quality Tool/Framework: SonarQube, Junit, Mockito.
• Adobe certifications such as AEM Sites Developer and/or AEM Cloud Service required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with wider technology teams and business to understand functional and non-functional requirements from a business and from a platform perspective.
• Lead a team of AEM developers & other delivery team members to provide deep technical development expertise, guidance and best practices and coding standards.
• Carry out necessary AEM development work - components, templates, services, necessary configurations.
• Conduct code reviews and technical design reviews.
• Estimate efforts and identify technical risks and propose mitigation plan.
• Trouble shoot production issues and provide technical guidance during critical incidents.
• Optimize performance, dispatcher, caching strategy.
• Document findings, learnings and recommendations
• Share knowledge on new AEM features, capabilities, technologies, architecture methodologies, standards, leading practices.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Experience of additional Adobe solutions such as a Target, Analytics beneficial.
