Job summary

Taazaa is seeking an experienced AEM Operations Support Engineer to join the Core engineering team in Noida. The role focuses on administering AEM 6.5.x environments, deployment, and performance monitoring within a hybrid work setup and collaborative teams across DevOps and development.

The candidate will ensure stability, security, and availability of AEM platforms. Ideal candidates have 4–8 years of hands-on AEM experience, strong architecture knowledge, and proficiency in admin tasks,

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience supportingAdobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5.x environments.
  • Strong understanding of AEM architecture: Author, Publish, Dispatcher, Replication, Sling, OSGi, Oak Repository.
  • AEM administration including User/Group management, ACLs, Workflows, and Package Manager.
  • Experience deploying code and content packages via Package Manager, Cloud Manager, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficient in Linux administration and shell scripting; basic JVM performance tuning.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5.x).
  • Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize AEM Author, Publish, and Dispatcher environments.
  • Perform deployments, content package installations, configuration changes, and validation across environments.
  • Administer AEM permissions, groups, ACLs, workflows, replication, and repository management.
  • Configure Apache HTTP Server and Dispatcher modules, cache mgmt, virtual hosts, rewrite rules, and security.
  • Conduct environment health checks, log analysis, RCA, and preventive maintenance.
  • Support integrations with LDAP, SAML, OAuth, or IMS.
  • Monitor platform health using DataDog, Splunk, and other enterprise tools.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues across AEM, Dispatcher, Apache, JVM, Oak, and CDN layers.
  • Participate in releases, change management, patching, and environment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to investigate issues and recommend ops improvements.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Operations Support Engineer with 4-8 Years of hands‑on experience supporting AEM environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AEM administration, production support, deployments, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and web infrastructure. The role involves working closely with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure the stability, security, and availability of AEM platforms.


What You’ll Do


  • Provide operational support for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5.x)

  • Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize AEM Author, Publish, and Dispatcher environments.

  • Perform application deployments, content package installations, configuration changes, and validation activities across environments.

  • Administer AEM user permissions, groups, ACLs, workflows, replication, maintenance tasks, and repository management.

  • Configure and maintain Apache HTTP Server and Dispatcher modules, including cache management, virtual hosts, rewrite rules, and security configurations.

  • Perform environment health checks, log analysis, incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive maintenance.

  • Support integrations with enterprise authentication systems such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, or IMS.

  • Monitor platform health using tools such as DataDog, Splunk and other enterprise monitoring solutions.

  • Troubleshoot performance issues involving AEM, Dispatcher, Apache, JVM, Oak Repository, and CDN layers.

  • Participate in releases, change management, patching, and environment maintenance activities.

  • Work closely with development teams to investigate application issues and recommend operational improvements.


What We’re Looking For


  • Hands‑on experience supporting Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5.x).

  • Strong understanding of AEM architecture including Author, Publish, Dispatcher, Replication Agents, Sling, OSGi, Oak Repository, and CRXDE.

  • Experience with AEM administration:

    • User and Group Management

    • ACLs and Permissions

    • Workflows

    • Replication

    • Audit Logs

    • Package Manager

    • Maintenance Tasks


  • Experience in deploying code and content packages using Package Manager, Cloud Manager, or CI/CD pipelines.

  • Strong knowledge of Apache HTTP Server and Dispatcher configuration and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.

  • Good understanding of JVM concepts, garbage collection, heap/thread dump analysis, and performance tuning basics.

  • Experience with monitoring and log analysis tools such as:

    • DataDog

    • Splunk


  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization integrations such as LDAP, SAML, IMS, or Single Sign‑On.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.

  • Experience working with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a production support environment.


Good to Have


  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps

  • Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments.

  • Familiarity with CDN technologies such as Akamai, Imperva, Cloudflare, or Fastly.

  • Experience with Adobe Dynamic Media or Assets.

  • Basic scripting knowledge using Groovy, Bash, or Python for operational automation.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Guides / DITA is highly desirable.
