Job summary

Perficient, Inc. in Chennai seeks an experienced Lead AEM Forms Developer to drive the design, development, and delivery of AEM Forms solutions for clients. You will transform requirements into scalable technical designs and guide the project’s technical direction.

You will mentor developers, lead code reviews, and collaborate with architects, stakeholders, and offshore/onsite teams to ensure performance, security, and best practices throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Forms development experience.
• Lead the design, development, and delivery of AEM Forms solutions including Adaptive Forms, Form Fragments, and Workflows.
• Develop and configure XDP-based forms, PDF generation, and Document Services.
• Build integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and enterprise apps.
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across project lifecycle.

As a Lead Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE

We are seeking an experienced AEM Forms Lead Developer with 8+ years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Forms development and implementation.

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of AEM Forms solutions using Adaptive Forms, Form Fragments, and Workflows.
• Develop and configure XDP-based forms, PDF generation, and Document Services.
• Build integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Customize AEM Forms using Java, OSGi, Sling, HTL, and Adobe APIs.
• Drive requirements gathering, solution design, code reviews, and technical governance.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and best practices adherence.
• Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and offshore/onsite teams.
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Experience with AEM Forms on JEE, Cloud Service, and migration projects is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients and lead technical discussions.
