You will develop scalable content services, headless APIs, reusable components and integrations while guiding implementation quality across delivery teams.
This role is suited for a hands-on engineer who can solve complex AEM challenges, mentor others and help move digital platforms towards cloud-native, API-first and AI-enabled delivery.
Design and develop scalable AEM Content Services, reusable components, templates, workflows and APIs to support enterprise digital experience platforms.
Build Content Fragment Models, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, taxonomies, metadata and localisation strategies for reusable omnichannel content delivery.
Develop and expose headless content APIs using GraphQL and REST to enable content consumption across web, mobile and digital channels.
Integrate AEM with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Next.js or Vue using API-first and headless delivery patterns.
Implement DAM, metadata management, tagging, search, indexing, Dispatcher, caching, CDN integration and content publishing processes.
Apply engineering best practices including SOLID principles, design patterns, code reviews, automated testing and SonarQube to improve scalability, security and maintainability.
Troubleshoot production issues across AEM Content Services, integrations, cloud environments, APIs, caching and deployment pipelines.
4-8 years of overall experience, including 3+ years of hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager, preferably AEM as a Cloud Service.
Strong hands-on experience with Java, Sling, JCR, OSGi, HTL, REST/GraphQL APIs, AEM Core Components and AEM Content Services.
Experience with Universal Editor, Edge Delivery Services, document-based authoring, Headless CMS and composable architectures for modern authoring and delivery.
Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager, Maven, Git, CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment practices.
Ability to implement integrations using Adobe I/O, REST APIs, GraphQL and enterprise platforms including AEP, Analytics, Commerce, PIM, CRM, identity providers and third-party systems.
Strong understanding of non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, accessibility, security, SEO, GEO and content discoverability.
Ability to collaborate with architects, UX, frontend, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders in Agile delivery environments.
Ability to mentor developers and provide technical inputs on design, implementation standards and quality gates.
Experience using Generative AI and Adobe AI capabilities to accelerate content modelling, API development, documentation, testing, migration and content optimisation.
Experience supporting AI-enabled workflows for content generation, SEO/GEO recommendations, accessibility validation, governance and publishing readiness.
Strong troubleshooting skills across AEM Content Services, integrations, caching, cloud environments and deployment pipelines.
Awareness of emerging Adobe Experience Cloud capabilities, Edge Delivery Services, Universal Editor and AI-driven content delivery practices.
