Honeywell International Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to join a team delivering technical proposals and engineering support for telecom and industrial security systems. The role involves reviewing RFPs, preparing BOMs, and stitching integrated solutions.

The candidate will evaluate vendor BOMs, collaborate with global teams, and travel for FATs and on-site testing to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years hands-on experience in industrial projects including Radio System, Networking, CCTV, PAGA, RADAR and related design/engineering.
• Knowledge of Radio System design (VHF Marine, VHF Aeronautical, UHF Operational, VSAT) and related systems.
• Experience with security/telecom integration and vendor evaluation.

Aufgaben

• Be part of a team specializing in Technical Proposal & Engineering support for Telecom and Industrial Security Systems.
• Review RFPs and prepare technical proposals including BOM and Architecture; stitch integrated solutions.
• Evaluate vendor BOMs and solutions, discuss with vendors to fit project requirements.
• Proactively communicate with stakeholders to finalize the solution and reduce cost.
• Deliver technical proposals/design/engineering on time; manage multiple RFPs in parallel.
• Collaborate with global Proposal & Estimation teams and Business development for new solutions.
• Travel for FATs, witness third party testing, and support engineers during installation and commissioning.
• Design and carry out detailed engineering for Radio System (VHF Marine, VHF Aeronautical, UHF, VSAT).

Responsibilities

• To be part of a team which specialize in Technical Proposal & Engineering support for Telecom and Industrial Security Systems

• Responsible to evaluate different Vendor BOM and solutions, discuss with various vendors and arrive at a solution that best fits the project requirement
• Proactive and Communicate with all Stakeholder’s in a timely manner to finalize the solution
• Holistic review of the solution to reduce the cost

Qualifications

Technical Skills

Should have minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in:

• Industrial projects – Radio System, Networking, IP Telephones, Access Controls, CCTV, PAGA, RADAR and Passive system hands on for Design and Engineering.
• Radio System in-depth Design and Engineering knowledge ( (VHF Marine, VHF Aeronautical, UHF Operational, VSAT Communications System)
• In addition to Radio skills additional knowledge on TSI designing systems like PIDS, RTLS, Entertainment System, CCTV, ACS, PAGA, Radar, SONAR etc., are added advantage
• Knowledge on Control room design and ATEX system are required
• Atleast 2-3 years of site commissioning experience of the Industrial Telecom & Security solutions with Radio System commissioning.
• Product certificates (Radio, Network), CCNA – added advantage

Education
