Job summary

Cerebra is seeking an experienced AEM Engineer to drive development of AEM components using HTL, Sling Models, and OSGi/Felix. You will contribute to AEMaaCS deployments and cloud-native patterns, while leveraging AI-assisted tools for rapid problem solving and component generation.

The role requires strong Java and JavaScript skills in HTL, plus familiarity with AEM Edge Delivery Services, LLM APIs, and cloud platforms. Agile delivery and CI/CD discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AEM development and HTL/Sightly
• Strong Java and JavaScript skills in HTL (Sightly) Python
• Familiarity with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) and Cloud Manager pipelines
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development and practical AI-driven problem solving
• Experience calling LLM APIs with awareness of tokens, latency and costs
• Cloud fundamentals (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
• Agile delivery practices and sprint-based development

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend AEM components using HTL/Sightly
• Work with Sling Models and OSGi/Felix for modular AEM apps
• Leverage AEMaaCS and Cloud Manager for cloud deployment
• Understand AEM EDS concepts and authoring model
• Apply AI coding assistants to daily development tasks
• Integrate LLM APIs into application code and manage tokens
• Demonstrate strong Java and JavaScript proficiency in HTL
• Utilize Adobe Platform Developer APIs (AEM, Firefly, AEP, AJO)
• Foster cloud-based DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Follow Agile delivery processes and deliver in sprints

• b. AEM Development: Hands-on experience with AEM component development using HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, OSGi/Felix, and Java
• c. AEMaaCS: Familiarity with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), including Cloud Manager pipelines and cloud-native deployment patterns
• d. AEM EDS (Basic): Basic awareness of AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS), including its document-based authoring model and block development concepts
• e. AI-Assisted Development: Demonstrated hands-on use of AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude) integrated into daily AEM development with practical examples of AI-driven problem-solving, component generation, and iteration
• f. LLM API Integration: Direct experience calling LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) in application code, with understanding of token management, latency, and cost trade-offs
