Job Overview:

This position requires a highly motivated and adaptable individual to oversee office administration and I-T support. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to seamlessly adapt to changing priorities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update the asset inventory system, ensuring accurate tracking of all hardware and software assets.
  • Be custodian of IT assets of the company and oversee the issuance, return, and replacement of laptops and other assets for employees.
  • Conduct periodic audits of assets to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Support and lead internal audits from an assets perspectives
  • Coordinate and negotiate with vendors for procurement, warranty claims, and servicing of asset equipment.
  • Manage employee accounts, including user creation, role assignments, and deactivation during onboarding/offboarding.
  • Ensure timely setup of new hires across all onboarding systems, software, and access tools to facilitate a smooth start.
  • Ensure proper access control and monitor account activities to maintain security.
  • Resolve asset related issues concerning hardware, software, and account management, while optimizing for time, labour, and money, with support from the vendors where needed.
  • Manage and coordinate in-office events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Manage travel bookings for team members and other arrangements for events
  • Monitor office supplies and inventory
  • Support various functions with document filing and organization
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system requirements and concerns.
  • Oversee attendance management and ensure accurate biometric reporting for all office employees.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in asset management and Admin role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office or Google Workspace, especially Spreadsheets and Documents.
  • Knowledge of asset inventory tools and systems, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency is using email and tools like Slack.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to do cost benefit analysis.
  • Ability to create useful reports, and identify and track important metrics.
  • Familiarity with IT and admin policies and compliance standards.
