Job summary

SBI General Insurance in Mumbai is seeking a pricing analytics professional to support underwriters, sales teams and senior management with data-backed insights. You will prepare reports, highlight trends and help understand profitability of business.

You will also develop and update premium calculators for pricing support, respond to underwriting queries, and assist during modeling to implement results and generate required reports. Timely product pricing and filing support is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and highlight key trends and insights to help underwriters, sales team and senior management understand the performance and profitability of business and facilitate data backed decision making.
• Prepare and periodically update premium calculators to help underwriters and sales team.
• Respond to queries from the underwriting team in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide formative and live support to the pricing team during the modeling exercise.
• Implement results of the modeling exercise to generate the required reports.
• Support pricing lead and Appointed Actuary in product pricing to ensure timelines for product filing are met.
