Practice Overview
The practice aligns with Accenture’s Global Network and provides transformation services through key offerings such as Living Marketing, Connected Commerce and Next‑Generation Customer Care.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and deliver content initiatives successfully, including managing timelines, budgets, resources, and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
- Analytical & data‑driven mindset to drive result‑oriented decisions.
- Exposure to marketing value chain across life sciences or allied industries.
- Market Research: Analyze and assess pharmaceutical markets across disease areas, identify new launches, indication expansions, emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities.
- Competitor benchmarking, patient journey mapping, segmentation & targeting.
- Digital Marketing: Develop end‑to‑end strategy & campaigns, liaise with client stakeholders, lead development of content marketing, social media, and web engagement programmes, and manage digital channel selection and optimisation.
- Marketing Technology: Lead platform assessment and solution design; conduct thorough assessments, propose solutions with operating models, define KPIs for marketing technologies (Adobe, SF, Veeva), and build regulatory and governance frameworks.
- MarTech Consulting Projects: Optimise MarTech stack, develop use cases, research, evaluate and recommend new MarTech systems, and keep a holistic understanding of platforms.
- Gen AI: Stay aware of AI developments in life sciences, co‑create customised GenAI solutions, have experience with CDP tools, and design and implement GenAI use cases.
- Sales & Business Development: Drive new business opportunities, define GTM strategy, facilitate client discussions, respond to RFP/RFI from life science customers.
- Practice Development: Support growth across marketing, sales, and service pillars through talent management, delivery oversight, thought leadership, and engagement with business groups (Salesforce, Veeva, Adobe, IQVIA, etc.).
Qualifications
- MBA from a tier 1 institute with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven working experience (8+ years) in digital marketing/advertising platforms and delivery of marketing solutions within the life sciences industry.
- In‑depth knowledge of branding, creative development, digital marketing, and campaign deployment & optimisation.
- Experience interacting with middle to senior management levels within organisations or clients.
- Experience working with agencies or in a marketing agency for life sciences clients.
- Strong understanding of marketing, advertising technologies, and ability to apply technology know‑how to improve client customer engagement.
