Job summary

Levi Strauss (India) Private Limited is seeking a skilled AR Analyst to manage and resolve customer claims and deductions within the Accounts Receivable function at our Bengaluru office. You will analyze invoice-level details in SAP ERP, gather proofs, raise queries, and collaborate with Sales and Finance to ensure timely resolution and healthy cash flow.

The role requires 5+ years of AR/claims experience, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF), and a detail-oriented mindset.

• Gather and organize proofs (e.g., BOL/POD, signed paperwork) to support claims.
• Raise and track queries in customer and internal portals with timely follow-up.
• Maintain complete documentation for all claims and supporting evidence.
• Prepare reports on claims status, aging, and resolution timelines for management.
• Monitor KPIs like aging, dispute cycle time, and recovery rates for process improvement.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to resolve claims and escalate when needed.
• Communicate clearly with customers to clarify details and request information.

Summary of the role:

The Claims Analyst is responsible for managing and resolving customer claims and deductions within the AR function. This role supports analysis, investigates invoice-level details, raises queries in customer portals, gathers supporting documentation for payback claims, and leverages analytical skills to research and report findings. The analyst works closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Operations) and external customers to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution, supporting overall cash flow and revenue objectives.

About the role:

Claims Investigation & Resolution

Analyze and validate claims and deductions raised by customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Investigate invoice-level details using SAP ERP and related systems to identify discrepancies or root causes.

Gather and organize proofs (e.g., BOL/POD, signed paperwork, email threads) to support claims and payback requests

Raise and track queries in customer and internal portals, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain complete and accurate documentation for all claims, including supporting evidence and correspondence.

Prepare regular reports on claims status, aging, and resolution timelines for management review.

Monitor KPIs such as claims aging, dispute cycle time, and recovery rates, providing actionable insights for process improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Distribution Center Operations, and other teams to resolve claims and elevate issues as needed.

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to clarify claim details and request additional information when required.

About you:

Experience:

5+ years' experience in Accounts Receivable, claims, or collections, preferably in a corporate or apparel industry setting. Proficiency in SAP ERP and Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to process accuracy. Experience in working within a multinational organization, especially managing cross-border data compliance.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
