Job summary

The Great Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd is seeking a Commerce Graduate to support the Accounts function in Mumbai. The role involves day-to-day accounting, banking transactions, reconciliations, and maintaining financial records in compliance with policies and procedures.

Candidate should have a First Class B.Com, 2-3 years in Accounts, exposure to SAP ERP, and proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word. Strong communication, analytics, and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in the Accounts Department of a reputed organization.

Responsibilities

To support the Accounts function by handling day-to-day accounting activities, banking transactions, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Candidate Profile

• First Class Commerce Graduate (B. Com.) from a recognized university.
• 2-3 years of experience in the Accounts Department of a reputed organization.
• Sound understanding of general accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Exposure to SAP ERP systems will be preferred.
• Experience in Cash/Bank operations, reconciliations, and payment processing will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail with high standards of accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
