Job summary

ABB Finance in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to support AP and Credit activities in line with defined strategies and policies. You will process AP transactions accurately and timely while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements.

The role reports to the Finance Team Lead - Accounts Payable and focuses on delivering precise reporting, control, and stakeholder communication from ABB's Finance Services in Bangalore.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in SAP in Accounts payable domain.
• If it is with Masters degree, then 3 to 4 years experience is ok.
• Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be flexible to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
• Perform reporting and analysis within accounts payable to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
• Execute analysis and reports and ensure internal control over financial reporting in accounts payable.
• Participate in internal control testing and prepare relevant documentation.
• Ensure stakeholders are kept informed of progress and issues to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Verify invoices comply with fiscal and internal control requirements.

This Position reports to: Finance Team Lead - Accounts Payable

We are looking for an experienced and technically proficient The Accounts Payable Analyst will perform support activities within Accounts Payable and Credit in line with defined strategies, policies, and procedures. The role involves processing accounting transactions for Accounts Payable (AP) accurately and timely while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements.

This role is contributing to the Finance Services business Accounts Payable division in Bangalore, India

You will be mainly accountable for.

• Processing accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate tracking and processing.
• Performing necessary activities within the accounts payable area to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Executing analysis and reports as assigned and taking appropriate action as necessary. Compiling with and helping to achieve internal control over financial reporting compliance in accounts payable for applicable templates.
• Participating in internal control testing and prepares relevant documentation.
• Ensuring all relevant stakeholders are aware of progress and/or issues to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Checking invoices to verify that they comply with the fiscal and internal control requirements. Focusing on organizing and coordinating on a task, project or program basis in support of a process or internal team.
