Job Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Remote with Periodic Travel to Company Headquarters

Position Overview

Our client, a growing international organization, is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to support its finance and accounting operations during a period of transformation. This remote role includes periodic travel to company headquarters for collaboration, planning, and alignment with leadership.

The Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, enhancing processes, and ensuring timely and reliable reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively across teams in a global setting.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations and assist in the monthly close process
Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting across the organization
Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and internal controls
Collaborate with regional teams and global leadership on financial reporting and compliance matters
Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting workflows
Assist with audit-related tasks and ensure adherence to internal and external requirements
Help standardize practices across entities or business units
Provide accurate and timely information to support financial decision-making
Assist with integration activities related to new business initiatives
Guide and support junior accounting staff as needed

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Significant experience in a corporate accounting role, preferably within a dynamic or evolving organization
Strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience working with ERP or accounting systems
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills
