We are looking for a detail-oriented and organisedAccounting Executivewith experience inGeneral Ledger (GL), SAP, and day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial record management, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

This role is suited to a finance professional who can maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely accounting entries, support financial reporting, and follow established accounting policies and procedures. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands‑on experience with SAP are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and updateGeneral Ledger accountsby recording accurate and timely journal entries.
• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including transaction posting, expense recording, and account classification.
• UseSAPto process accounting transactions, maintain financial records, and support general ledger operations.
• Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Investigate accounting discrepancies, identify the root cause of variances, and coordinate timely resolution.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
• Prepare and maintain journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustment entries as required.
• Support the preparation of trial balances, account schedules, and financial reports.
• Ensure accounting transactions are supported by appropriate invoices, approvals, and other documentation.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities, expense tracking, and transaction verification when required.
• Maintain organised accounting records and ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready.
• Support internal and external audits by providing ledger details, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
• Follow established accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain financial information and resolve accounting queries.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting accuracy, reconciliation processes, and operational efficiency.
