Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Bengaluru (Whitefield) seeks an Accountant (R2R) to join the Global Business Services RTR division. You will perform Record To Report activities for multiple regional entities from the Bangalore GBS Center, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

The role requires 3–4 years of accounting experience, willingness to work in shifts across APAC, EMEA, and US time zones, and a commitment to internal controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of Accounting Degree or equivalent.
  • CA/CMA/US CPA/ CMA preferrable with 2-3 years in captive accounting services or large corporates.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP and internal standards.
  • Create reports on financial performance and provide insightful analysis.
  • Participate in ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Accountant (R2R)) to join our Global Business Services RTR -Global Finance Services Division Team. To perform Record To Report (RTR) activities for Global entities (US, EAME, APAC) based entities as part of Centre of Excellence (COE) team from Bangalore Global Business Services (GBS) Organization as per – standard processes. The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield Office, Bangalore, India

What you will do

Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management. Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards. Creating reports on financial performance and providing insightful analysis for internal and external use. Upon request, take part in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests. Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP.

What you will have

3-4 years of Accounting Degree or equivalent. Professional Certification from CA/CMA institute/US CPA/CMA preferrable 2-3 years of relevant experience in captive accounting service centres or large corporates with Manufacturing & Service nature of business Basics in handling multiple ERP's and varied accounting tools Basics in Data Analytical skills and Interpretation of results Basics in understanding accounting/business issues Flexibility to work in multiple shift timings (APAC, EAME, US) The position requires the candidate to work a 5-a day -week schedule in the office
