Job summary

Navalt in India seeks an Accountant (CA Inter/Final) to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and taxation, ensuring accurate financial reporting and support for audits.

The role requires pursuing CA Inter/Final, completed CA Articleship, proficiency in Tally, strong attention to detail, and solid organizational skills. Freshers may apply with articleship completed.

Qualifications

• CA Inter or CA Final (currently pursuing) is mandatory.
• Completed CA Articleship is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally and other accounting software.
• Male candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payments and perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Record cash, bank transactions, and financial entries accurately in Tally.
• Maintain payment records, purchase approval follow-ups, and supporting documentation.
• Calculate and deduct TDS in compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Record salary payable entries and maintain payroll-related accounting records.
• Monitor vendor advances and coordinate timely settlements.
• Prepare quarterly TDS returns and manage monthly TDS payments.
• Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and due diligence activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
