TIAA is seeking an Accountant I in Maharashtra to assist with journal entries, balance sheets, and periodic closings under supervision.

The Accountant I provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management. This job is responsible for assisting with the preparation of journal entries, financial statements and participating in closing processes. Under close supervision, this job performs a variety of clerical and routine accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to ensure that the company is in compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
