Job Summary
- Provide and ensure timely, high‑quality service and deliverables to leading private equity and funds clients under supervisory guidance.
- Focus on core processes, low‑complexity ad‑hoc work and client requirements; perform self‑review to gain insights into strengths and development areas.
- Prepare and complete NAV and financials for private equity funds, including journal entries, monthly/quarterly/annual financials, payments, investor notices, and client reporting.
- Prepare capital call and distribution workings with notices and release to investors.
- Assist in converting private equity funds from other accounting applications to Investran.
- Assist in onboarding new private equity funds in Investran and Paxus.
- Handle all reporting requirements such as financial statements, working papers/management accounts, partner statements and ad‑hoc deliverables.
- Perform accounting and administration tasks in accordance with IQ‑EQ India Global Client Delivery policies and procedures.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements with disclosures, NAV reporting and other ad‑hoc service requests for funds/corporate clients.
- Ensure all deliverables are timely and accurate.
- Acquire knowledge of designated clients’ requirements and deliverables.
- Maintain compliance by following SSAE and other statutory procedures.
- Pursue training, feedback and support in technical and non‑technical aspects.
- Guide new peers or juniors on client specifics and deliverables.
Tasks & Duties
Cluster Client Delivery
- Acquire knowledge of client agreements, SOW, SLA, etc. for deliverable preparation.
- Ensure complete information, data and supporting documents are received; acknowledge or escalate to Senior Accountant.
- Deliver quality information within agreed timeframes.
- Prepare, complete and ensure quality of clients’ deliverables on time.
- Understand report components generated by the appropriate platform(s).
- Review outputs and deliverables prepared.
- Address review comments.
- Take ownership, prepare and reply to cluster/client/investor queries within 24 hours.
- Escalate job‑related issues to appropriate authorities promptly.
- Support the team and other teams as needed.
- Act as an alternate for Senior Accountants or Assistant Managers when required.
- Consolidate client queries, requirements and comments; research and validate team interpretation of requirements to the technical team.
Workflow Management
- Ensure timesheets are completed daily and accurately filed.
- Setup, monitor, update and close all deliverables via the workflow planner.
Systems
- Use best practices on accounting platforms.
- Generate reports using reporting platforms.
Risks
- Adhere to procedures, checklists and SSAE requirements to mitigate errors.
- Report breaches, complaints or errors to appropriate authorities timely.
- Assist in error report preparation, identify operational risk areas and propose remedial actions within 24 hours.
Other
- Undertake additional tasks/ responsibilities as part of professional development.

Essential
Education / Professional Qualifications
Graduate in accounting or any business‑related course with 2+ years relevant accounting experience.
Fundamental knowledge of IndAS, IFRS and GAAPs of different jurisdictions (US, UK, Lux). Prepare financial statements using applicable laws and regulations.
Fluency in English and an additional foreign language.
Background Experience
Knowledgeable in preparing working paper files, financial statements with disclosures and other financial information. Operational experience in fund accounting services, preferably in handling private equity.
Technical
Intermediate Excel skills such as pivot tables, lookup, IF and similar functions.
Computer / Program Knowledge
Experience in e‑mail, word processing and video conferencing applications such as Microsoft Office.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in using accounting software (Investran/Paxus).
