Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong bookkeeping and GL management incl. AP, AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Experience in financial reporting, variance analysis, and budgeting/forecasting support.

• Proficient with accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
• Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Siliguri. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining general ledger entries, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The Accountant will help ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation rules, and internal policies, while assisting with audits and financial reporting. The position also includes supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring cash flow, and providing timely financial insights to management.
