Job summary

SFC Global Commodity is seeking an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting using Tally Prime and handle GST compliance. The role is based on-site in Ahmedabad with 2–7 years of experience in accounting and a background in B.Com/M.Com/B.C.A. Responsibilities include invoicing, GST filings, and confidential handling of promoter accounts.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with Tally Prime, GST, and TDS. Immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Tally Prime (13 years is stated) and applying accounting best practices.
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS compliance workflows.
• Proficient with Excel for data entry, reporting, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts using Tally Prime (sales, purchases, journals).
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
• File GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B) and manage TDS calculations and challan payments.
• Prepare invoices, e-way bills, and e-invoices as required.
• Handle personal/family accounts separately and confidentially.
