Job summary

Southend Pharma in India seeks an organized Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, record entries, and maintain ledgers. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support GST/TDS compliance.

The role includes supplier/customer reconciliations, bank reconciliations, petty cash handling, and assisting audits, with attention to accuracy and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software.
• Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and trial balances.
• Maintain accounts payable/receivable, supplier/vendor reconciliation, and customer outstanding reports.
• Prepare GST returns, TDS filings, and assist in statutory audits.
• Manage petty cash, cheque collection and bank reconciliations.
• Payment follow-up with customers
