Job summary

Adept Global in Mumbai invites a hands-on Accountant to independently manage complete accounting and statutory compliance, owning day-to-day books, GST, TDS, reconciliations, AP/AR, monthly closing and reporting.

You'll work with auditors, consultants and internal teams, maintain books using Tally/ERP, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• CA mandatory
• Experience handling GST, TDS, and statutory compliances
• Proficiency with Tally/ERP and MIS reporting

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting, journal entries, provisions, accruals, depreciation and monthly closing.
• Handle TDS computation, deductions, payments, returns, Form 16/16A and TRACES reconciliations.
• Manage GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, RCM and input tax credit.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, inter-company and statutory reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable, including invoicing, collections, vendor payments and ageing.
• Prepare trial balance, P&L, balance sheet schedules and MIS reports.
• Support statutory, internal and tax audits, along with Advance Tax, Professional Tax and PF/ESIC coordination.
• Maintain accurate books using Tally/ERP and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.

About the Role:
