Job summary

IFI Techsolutions in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage accounting for India and international client accounts within an IT services environment.

The role requires 3–6 years of IT industry experience, with a focus on setting up financial processes, audits, regulatory filings, and cash flow management. You will lead a small team and liaise with clients to provide timely financial insights.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Experience in an IT services company and handling both India and international business.
• Lead senior accounting activities including team and client accounts.
• Set up financial processes and systems; prepare audit plans.
• Analyze financial statements and perform period-end adjustments.
• Filing GST, TDS, PF reports to regulatory authorities.
• Prepare cash flow statements and MIS reports for clients.
• Maintain GL and sub-ledger details; ensure monthly reconciliations.
• Coordinate with clients for financial information and advice.

Responsibilities

• Experience in IT Services company
• Someone with both India and International business experience
• Someone who comes across as a senior individual with a lot of maturity to handle team as well as customer account teams
• Someone who has experience in setting up financial processes and systems
• Preparing Audit Plans.
• Analysis of Financial Statements.
• Filing various reports to regulatory authorities like GST, TDS ,PF.
• Preparation of cash flow statements.
• Managing multiple assignments and teams.
• Managing client relationships and client expectations.
• Review of internal financial controls of clients.
• Update and maintain general ledger and sub-ledgers detail for accounts such as fixed assets, prepayments, intangibles and accruals.
• Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations and other key controls are completed monthly.
• Work on projects as required by management.
• Prepare period end adjustments (e.g., accruals, currency conversions, etc.)
• Provide inputs as required during annual group and statutory audits.
• Day to day invoice processing. MIS reporting to clients/Manager
• Liaising with clients and providing financial information and advice.
