Job summary

The Woodpecker's is seeking a detail-oriented Executive Accounts to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial transactions in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have strong taxation knowledge and hands-on experience with accounting software, especially Tally Prime.

Responsibilities include handling daily bookkeeping, GST/TDS/Income Tax filings, bank and ledger reconciliations, online payments processing, and coordinating with auditors to ensure timely statutory

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax filings and compliance.
• Excellent understanding of accounting entries and reconciliations.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Executive Accounts to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial transactions. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of taxation and hands-on experience in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping
• Manage GST, TDS, and Income Tax filing and compliance
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations
• Process and monitor online payments (NEFT, RTGS, etc.)
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants when required
• Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements
• Prepare basic financial reports and MIS

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Accounts
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax, and compliances
• Hands-on experience in Tally Prime (mandatory)
• Good understanding of accounting entries and reconciliations
• Experience in handling online banking transactions (NEFT, RTGS)
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
