  • Good proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering and basic reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions including receipts, payments, purchases, sales and journal entries.
  • Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, bills and other financial documents.
  • Maintain books of accounts and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
  • Handle bank reconciliation and monitor bank transactions regularly.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Process employee-related financial transactions such as salary-related accounting, reimbursements and advances.
  • Assist in preparation and filing of statutory returns such as GST, TDS, Professional Tax and other applicable compliances.
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial records, schedules and supporting documents.
  • Assist in budgeting, financial analysis and preparation of MIS reports.
  • Verify supporting documents and ensure compliance with internal financial procedures.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records for audit and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and provide periodic reports to the Finance Manager.
  • Support the Finance team during internal, statutory and regulatory audits.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of financial and employee-related information.
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Job Purpose
