Roles And Responsibilities
- Successfully onboarding clients and building strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Becoming the internal “expert” on all things your clients.
- Serving as the primary point of contact between the client and the team, scheduling and leading weekly meetings, managing ongoing communications, etc.
- Ensuring delivery and documentation of clients’ brand guidelines, deliverables, rule sets, and more.
- Writing and optimizing strategic plans, project roadmaps, content calendars, and other deliverables.
- Initiating work with the campaign manager and other internal stakeholders.
- Synthesizing analytics into audits and reports to inform strategy changes.
- Providing high-level scope to internal stakeholders for brief creation, task assignment and prioritization, and execution and completion of creative assets and deliverables.
- Identifying and resolving churn risk as well as upsell opportunities across email, SMS, push, and in‑app messaging.
- Ensuring timely renewals and ongoing client retention.
- Identifying opportunities for client case studies, interviews, reviews, referrals, and industry articles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2‑3 years experience as an email marketing manager, brand‑side role, or similar role in a MarTech company or marketing agency.
- Experience with email service providers, marketing automation platforms, lifecycle marketing platforms, and/or customer data platforms.
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills, ability to speak to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Strategic thinker who champions team and client success.
- Strong project management skills and ability to adapt to changing deadlines and priorities.
- Effective time‑management and the ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- Experience working with a fully remote team, including overseas members.
