AccessibilitySpecialist III (9–11 Years)
We arelooking for a passionate and experienced Accessibility Specialist to help usbuild products that are truly usable by everyone. In this role, you will play akey part in ensuring our web and mobile applications meet the highest standardsof accessibility, usability, and compliance. You will work closely withProduct, Design, Engineering, and QA teams to embed accessibility into everystage of the product lifecycle—from early design reviews to release readiness.
KeyResponsibilities
AccessibilityEvaluation & Compliance
- Conductdetailed accessibility assessments of web applications (Angular, React) andmobile applications (React Native – iOS & Android).
- Ensureproducts comply with WCAG 2.2 Level AA and ADA accessibility requirements.
- Evaluateuser experiences for people with diverse disabilities, including visual,auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
- Identifyaccessibility gaps related to keyboard navigation, focus management, screenreader interaction, visual contrast, form behavior, and dynamic content.
Manual& Automated Testing
- Performhands-on manual testing using assistive technologies including NVDA, JAWS,VoiceOver and TalkBack.
- L everageautomated tools such as axe DevTools, Lighthouse and WAVE.
- Balanceautomated results with manual validation to ensure real-world usability.
Reporting& Guidance
- Produceclear accessibility audit reports with WCAG mapping, severity, user impact,reproducible steps and remediation guidance.
- Workclosely with Engineering teams to clarify findings and drive effectiveremediation.
- Maintainaccessibility guidelines, checklists and reference documentation.
- Partnerwith Design teams to review UX and visual designs for accessibility early inthe process.
- Experiencereviewing accessibility in Figma designs is preferred.
- Collaboratewith Developers to promote accessible coding practices, semantic HTML andappropriate ARIA usage.
- MentorDevelopers, QA Engineers and junior Accessibility Specialists, promotingaccessibility as a shared responsibility.
- Ownaccessibility delivery for assigned products and drive remediation to closure.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
Experience& Background
- 9–11years of professional experience in accessibility testing, compliance andaccessibility engineering.
- Hands-onexperience evaluating both web and mobile applications within a product-focusedengineering environment.
- Demonstratedexperience leading complex accessibility reviews and mentoring engineeringteams.
Certifications(Strongly Preferred)
- IAAPCPACC – Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies
- IAAPWAS – Web Accessibility Specialist
- I AAPCPWA – Certified Professional in Web Accessibility
- Anyrecognized certification in accessibility or inclusive design
TechnicalExpertise
- Expertknowledge of semantic HTML and accessible UI patterns.
- Expertknowledge of ARIA roles, states and properties.
- Expertisein keyboard accessibility and focus management.
- Advancedunderstanding of screen reader behaviour across platforms.
- Practicalexperience with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, axe DevTools, Lighthouse andWAVE.
