About The Opportunity

Join a fast-moving engineering team building accessible React applications that meet enterprise-level usability and compliance standards. You will embed accessibility into product development, help ship reusable accessible components, and champion WCAG best practices across design and engineering partners.

Role & Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain accessible UI components and patterns in React using modern best practices (functional components, hooks).
• Apply WAI-ARIA techniques and WCAG 2.1 guidelines to design and code reviews to remediate accessibility gaps.
• Create and run automated accessibility tests (axe-core, Lighthouse) and integrate checks into CI pipelines.
• Perform manual accessibility testing including screen reader flows and keyboard-only navigation to validate real-world UX.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and QA to define accessibility acceptance criteria and remediation plans.
• Maintain documentation and an accessible component library; mentor engineers on accessible design and development practices.
