Job summary

Edwise International in Visakhapatnam is seeking dynamic Academic Counsellors to guide aspiring students through overseas education opportunities. The role emphasizes strong communication, detailed counselling, and student-centric support to help candidates achieve study abroad goals.

Freshers welcome; you will counsel on admissions, scholarships, visas, and documentation, coordinate with universities and families, and participate in education fairs to build lasting relationships with students

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Freshers or up to 1 year of experience can apply.
• Experience in overseas education, admissions, counselling, EdTech or customer counselling will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students on study abroad opportunities, universities, courses and career pathways.
• Guide students through the admission, application, visa and scholarship processes.
• Assist with documentation, including SOPs, LORs, resumes and financial documents.
• Advise students on scholarship opportunities, eligibility and application requirements.
• Coordinate with students, universities and internal teams to ensure timely application processing.
• Maintain accurate student records and follow up on pending documents and payments.
• Participate in education fairs, seminars and other student engagement activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students and partner institutions.
