Job summary

ZettaMine Labs Pvt. Ltd. in Delhi is seeking an Applied AI / Multimodal AI Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in ML, CV, NLP, and OCR.

Immediate joiners are preferred. You will design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI solutions across cloud and edge environments, build OCR pipelines, and optimize models for production readiness. Responsibilities include benchmarking, error analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Applied ML, CV, NLP, or Multimodal AI.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks proficiency (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Hands-on OCR tech experience with DocTR, PaddleOCR, TrOCR.
• Experience with Vision-Language Models (e.g., Grounding DINO, CLIP).
• Multilingual AI model knowledge (IndicTrans2, NLLB, IndicWhisper).
• Proficiency in model evaluation, benchmarking, regression testing, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end ML, CV, NLP, and multimodal AI solutions.
• Build AI pipelines for OCR and document understanding.
• Develop automated model evaluation frameworks (CER/WER, F1, hallucination rate).
• Benchmark, analyze errors, calibrate models, and optimize for accuracy and latency.
• Collaborate with product, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions.

We are currently hiring for the position of Applied AI / Multimodal AI Engineer and are looking for immediate joiners with expertise in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, OCR, and Vision-Language Models (VLMs).

Experience: 5+ Years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, and Multimodal AI solutions using modern open-source technologies.
• Build AI pipelines for:
• OCR and document understanding
• Develop automated model evaluation frameworks using metrics such as:
• OCR CER/WER
• Attribute F1 Score
• Hallucination Rate
• Regression Testing
• Perform benchmarking, error analysis, model calibration, and optimization to continuously improve AI model performance.
• Optimize models for accuracy, scalability, latency, and cost across cloud and edge environments using:
• Threshold tuning
• Calibration
• Post-processing techniques
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and cross-functional teams to evaluate emerging AI technologies and deliver production-ready AI solutions.

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Applied Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, or Multimodal AI.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Hands-on experience with OCR technologies:
• DocTR
• PaddleOCR
• TrOCR
• Experience working with Vision-Language Models (VLMs):

• Experience with multilingual AI models:

• Strong expertise in model evaluation, benchmarking, regression testing, error analysis, model optimization, and performance tuning.

• Knowledge of MLOps and model monitoring frameworks.
