TJ O' Mahony Tullamore is seeking a full-time Yard Operative/Forklift Driver to join our team at Axis Business Park, Tullamore. You will support yard operations, receive and load materials, operate the forklift, and assist customers with collections and deliveries.

Requirements include forklift licence, prior yard/warehouse experience, a full clean driving licence, and the ability to work in a busy environment. We offer 39 hours per week, employee discounts, and onsite parking.

Qualifikationen

Job Purpose:

Yard Operative/Forklift Driver is to support the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the yard by receiving, storing, picking and loading materials, operating the forklift, and assisting customers with collections and deliveries.

Duties and Responsibilities

Safely operate a forklift to load, unload and move materials.

Receive deliveries and check goods against delivery documentation.

Pick, prepare and load customer orders accurately and safely.

Organise and maintain stock within the yard and warehouse.

Assist customers with collections and provide a professional service.

Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

Complete daily forklift checks and report any defects or issues.

Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.

Assist with stock checks and stocktaking when required.

Work effectively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the yard.

Complete relevant paperwork accurately.

Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.

Requirements

Previous yard, warehouse or building merchant experience desirable.

Valid forklift licence/certification.

Previous forklift operating experience.

Full clean Driver Licence

Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

Ability to work in a busy environment.
