Job description

We are currently recruiting an experienced and passionate part‑time temporary sales person for the Wine Center.

Based on John Street in Kilkenny, the Wine Center is an award‑winning long‑established off‑licence with a reputation for great service. We have a wonderful selection of wines along with extensive craft beers and a recently developed whiskey wall which is proving to be a popular draw with customers from both home and abroad.

The ideal candidate will have current restaurant or retail experience and you will be passionate about sales and providing an exceptional customer experience.

The main duties associated with the role are as follows:

• Responsible retailing of wines, beers and spirits to our customers
• Advising customers on wine choices, food pairings etc
• Providing exceptional customer service and experience
• Merchandising and housekeeping within the store
• Carrying out basic admin tasks
• Fully flexible to cover day, evening and weekend shifts

Full training will be provided.
