Job summary

ENERCON in Bantry, Co. Cork, Ireland, is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to service and repair wind turbines and ensure peak performance.

You will work with advanced electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, performing fault-finding and accurate reporting while upholding safety standards. The role requires a qualified Electrician or an Electrical Engineering Degree, a valid Irish driving licence, a Safe Pass, and fitness for Working at Heights.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician or holder of an Electrical Engineering Degree.
• Physically fit and able to pass a Working at Heights Medical (Chester Step Test).
• Full, clean Irish Category B driving licence.
• Valid Safe Pass Card is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, and repair on ENERCON wind turbines to ensure optimal performance.
• Work with electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, diagnosing and resolving issues.
• Conduct fault-finding and reporting on electrical and mechanical components with documentation.
• Adhere to site rules and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Comply with Wind Turbine Safety Rules and complete required documentation.
• Maintain high safety and environmental standards during operations.
• Complete computerized documentation for service activities.
• Participate in weekend emergency call-out as part of the team rotation.
