Job Description

Perform MIG welding on structural components, machinery, or custom metalwork according to engineering drawings and technical specifications. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and work orders. Set up and operate welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Inspect welded joints for accuracy and structural integrity, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. Carry out finishing operations including grinding and cleaning welded surfaces. Work with forepersons or engineers to identify and solve fabrication challenges.

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in MIG welding in a professional setting. Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong understanding of welding symbols and techniques. Familiarity with health and safety standards in an industrial environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
